Reds vs Blues : Mission Impossible
A revolutionary season becomes disastrous in last seven days after losing out to Liverpool in Champions League and United in League while prolonging their day to lift the Silverware. The hope for comebacks was high until their defeat in derby while leading 2-0 in halftime and conceding 3 goals in the second half shows the sloppy defense of City. Overlooking the past couple of matches, firstly the Spaniard tried to fight fire with fire by attacking against Liverpool which opened up space for Salah and Co. After switching back to conventional 4-3-3 City had everything under control.
Even the odd’s are against the Blue’s, Citizens may fancy a comeback with return of man in form Aguero who can forget the Agueroish moment which won the PL. The criticised team earlier defeated Liverpool 5-0 in Etihad so no wonder in a comeback. The classic play from Blues, defend deep and attack high with no errors may take them to extra time and possibly win by penalties. On other hands, Reds are not known for a clean sheet but finding the back of the net is indispensable. Let’s see how the tale unfolds.
